We supply packaging solutions to a global manufacturer of specialised thermal insulation.
The company had experienced issues with suppliers not fulfilling their packaging requirements on time and an increase in prices. Following a tender process, the company appointed Taylor Packaging in 2009 to deliver its packaging requirements.
Acting as its outsourced packaging partner, we manage, monitor and replenish stock, helping to reduce its administrative and warehouse burdens. We provide a daily supply service of packaging solutions to ensure stock levels are maintained and that we can continuously meet the company’s requirements. This includes delivering carboard boxes, shipping crates, film and bespoke boxes to its manufacturing shops. We work closely with the company’s team to offer a flexible and responsive service which has resulted in us achieving 100% KPI every month.
We also provide packaging solutions for specialist projects, for example the company required a pack to protect a large aero component during transportation. Taylor Packaging managed the whole process which included designing and supplying the box. This solution helped to keep the component in place and prevented it from getting damaged.
