HELPING FISHBURN PIONEERS TO BUILD A PYRAMID
We were thrilled to help Fishburn Primary School’s group of Pioneers recreate a pyramid, by donating boxes and other materials.
Based in Durham, the school contacted us to ask if we could support the Pioneers with their summer topic, Exciting Egyptians. The children wanted to recreate a pyramid and use cardboard boxes as the main material to build it.
Our team supplied 41 large boxes and buff tape to help them in making their idea a reality. Once completed the Pioneers unveiled their pyramid to the school during an outdoor school assembly.
We also donated a range of materials including bubble wrap and wooden pallets for the school’s Early Years Provisions.
Adam Taylor, Managing Director at Taylor Packaging, said: “We were delighted to help the Pioneers in their quest to build a pyramid. Its great to see so much passion from young people and for Taylor Packaging to play a small part in helping them realise their idea.”
Dean Cornell, Fishburn Primary School and The Pioneers (Year 2 & Year 3 class of 2021), added: “The children had a great time building the pyramid – it really did have the WOW factor when they presented it to the school during their outdoor assembly! Thank you to the Taylor Packaging team for all their help, we really appreciate it.”
