Calcium Chloride Sachets

Cargosorb Classic is a desiccant product that effectively regulates moisture in shipping containers. The desiccant comes in the shape of a chain of bags and is available as a 6-piece or 12-piece unit. In both versions, the ingredients consist of calcium chloride and modified starch. By using Cargosorb Classic, you effectively prevent moisture damage such as fermentation, mildew, the swelling of your packaging and the loosening of label adhesives. By using Cargosorb Classic, you also prevent the formation of a corrosive environment in containers.

Cargosorb Classic features a preinstalled hook, which makes loading containers impressively fast and easy. Adhesive dots on the back help affix the product to the wall and guarantee trouble-free loading and unloading of containers. The front of the bag is made of a special non-woven membrane that allows moisture to enter. Inside, a granulate mixture of calcium chloride and starch transforms the moisture into a non-leaking gel mass. As a chain of 6 or 12 bags, Cargosorb Classic binds up to 2 and 4 litres of moisture, respectively. The back of the chain of bags features a transparent PE film, making it possible to visually check the status of the granulate mixture. The waterproof PE film also allows Cargosorb Classic – unlike other desiccant products – to be placed directly onto the goods to be protected.
